"To be honest, I really thought a lot about going to school," he explained. "But I thought just playing Junior A for two years wasn't going to help my development. When I got drafted 18th overall to Kitchener, after talking to the coaching staff, I thought that Steve and the rest of the coaching staff was really going to help me achieve my dream."
