The three stars for the week ending November 13, 2011 are :
1st Star - Malcolm Subban - Belleville Bulls : Subban is the first player to win the honors in back to back weeks and he's doing it returning from injury. He led the Bulls to two shootout wins. He stopped 25 of 28 shots in a 4-3 victory. He followed that up with a 32 save performance in a 2-1 win over Oshawa in which he also stopped all 6 Generals shootout shooters.
Slater Koekkoek - Peterborough Petes : Koekkoek is really beginning to pick up his game. In Just 2 games last week, the Defenseman scored once and added 5 assists and also took part in the Subway Super Series for Team OHL.
Nail Yakupov - Sarnia Sting : It wasn't a typical offensive week for Yakupov, scoring just once and adding 2 assists in two games. But what caught most of our eyes is everything else he brings to the table, his skating, physicality, shot, you name it, he has it. Yakupov also took part in the Subway Super Series for Team Russia.
As always, you can find previous weekly winners and those that voted on them by clicking the 3 stars tab at the top of the page.
